CDSS Templates
CS (CDSS) Templates Instructions
To import one of these templates into CDSS, click on the appropriate link. The template file will open in a new window. It will look like a text file, not like a useful template. Don’t worry it will look fine when it is imported.
Save the file onto the desktop of your PC. Make sure the file type is kept as tem (eg Ante Natal.tem)
Now copy the saved file into the correct folder on your server. This is probably the C:\Apps\CDSS\UserTemplates\ folder on your server. If you cannot find the correct folder, your local IT Facillitator should be able to help.
The template should then be available for use in GPASS (you may have to log out of GPASS and back in again to see it).
For the Near Pt Testing it helps to first set up a GPASS screening search called High Risk Medication review (The spelling & capitalization are important so that the templates find the appropriate protocol) to allow for call recall. It should have the codes 66P5 66P4 66P6 66P2 9021 14Q. 6783 6812 681C
I have also included a Vaccinations and Injections template. The important thing is to include Manufacturer, Batch number and injection site in the extension field of the code at the time of vaccination. These are necessary for the contract and if everyone knows to record them there you do not have to worry with paper. If vaccinations are just recorded through screening, there is no way to record Batch Number etc.
Then just import these templates into the server Apps\CDSS\User Templates folder and they should work.
