Each user of GPASS can customise the view of their encounter screen. This means that:-
- You
can choose which 'Tab' is active when you open a record (ie 'Previous
Encounter', 'Encounter', 'History' or 'Care Management')
- Within the chosen Tab, you can choose which sub tab is active on opening. Here,
you have a choice of 'Acute Prescriptions', 'Repeat Prescriptions' or Current
Precriptions'. You can also choose between 'Clinical', Referrals', Screening' and
'Care Management'
If
you would like a quick route to contract data entry via SPICE, you
could set up your encounter default to be 'Encounter' with the sub tab
'Care Management' selcted. This means you would get entry to SPICE
screens in 2 clicks for each patient.
To do this, follow these instructions:-
- Open an encounter screen
- Select View from the menu
- Select Customise Main Tab and then select Encounter
This defines Today's encounter as your main opening tab. In order to define sub tabs, do the following:-
- Click on the Encounter tab as if you were entering data in the record.
- Click on the prescibing tab that you want to be active.
- Click on the 'Care Management' tab
The screen that you have displayed will be the selected default.
Save this by selecting View on the main menu again and then clicking 'Save as Default'
From now on, each time you enter an encounter, this is how the screen will be displayed. You can change this at any point.
NB This is set up per User, so can be different for each user of the system.
